Learn the latest on current deal metrics and what they mean for current and future transactions—from both the asset-builder's perspective and the potential buyer's.
Operator Spotlight: Gaining Efficiencies In Monetizing Eagle Ford Pay
Swift Energy Co., a longtime operator in South Texas' stacked pay, has accumulated an impressive record of efficiency gains in the Eagle Ford. Here's how it's achieving these results.
Economics Panel: Understanding Well Variability
The vast Eagle Ford play—covering an astonishing 7 million acres—has distinct sub-regions. Well results vary by area, from the west to the east, and by operator. Join this panel of experts as they dissect the play and offer insights into this complex reservoir, including discussions of type curves, breakeven costs and near- and long-term production forecasts.
Operator Spotlight: Upper Eagle Ford Results & A New Drill Design
A South Texas operator for more than 20 years, Pioneer Natural Resources is producing some 43,000 BOE/d from the Eagle Ford. Learn about further plans, its down-spacing results in the upper Eagle Ford and how it has reduced drill costs with a two-string, rather than three-string, design.
Keynote Networking Luncheon
Each year the DUG Eagle Ford luncheon pays tribute to our military heroes. This year, Hart Energy brings decorated war hero Salvatore "Sal" Giunta to the DUG stage. Now retired from his post as Staff Sgt. of the 173rd Airborne Brigade, Giunta is the first living person since the Vietnam War to receive the U.S. military's highest decoration, the Medal of Honor. Other military decorations include the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
UPSTREAM TRACK: Afternoon Keynote: The Big Picture On Crude Oil Exports
Exports of crude oil from the U.S. are restricted at present, but with U.S. production at more than 8.2 million barrels a day and rising, pressure to allow higher levels of imports is growing. What are the prospects for large volumes of U.S. crude flowing to different countries, and how might this affect the world's geopolitical landscape?
UPSTREAM TRACK: Operator Spotlight: Proving The Oily Eagle Ford East Of The Arch
The Eagle Ford play's founders—now at Halcón Resources Corp.—are proving some 100,000 net acres of Eagle Ford pay east of the San Marcos Arch with wells producing 90% oil. Here's how the position has been delineated and the outlook for diminishing costs and growing EURs.
UPSTREAM TRACK: Service Spotlight: Rigs, Pumps & Crews
Production continues to grow in the Eagle Ford as commodity prices stay strong and the areas with excellent productivity expand. That translates to steady demand for drilling rigs, pressure pumping services and personnel. Here a leading service company executive discusses the trends and outlook for the play.
MIDSTREAM TRACK: Afternoon Keynote: Condensate Splitting & The Eagle Ford
This midstream operator plans to take advantage of the growing condensate volumes generated by Eagle Ford wells. Hear the details of its exciting project.

New and expanded facilities are raising the processing capacity for burgeoning South Texas production growth. Learn the specifics, how these projects will impact the play and of ongoing solving under way for expectations for continued capacity-demand growth.
UPSTREAM TRACK: Economic Spotlight: How Texas' Shale Plays Are Transforming Markets & Investment Trends
Liquids from the Eagle Ford and, increasingly, from new Permian Basin production are supplementing the bounty of natural gas the Barnett and other gas-rich shale plays have put into the market. Here, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce breaks down how Texas' and other shale plays are rebuilding the American economy along the value chain—from drillbit to end-user to more jobs.
UPSTREAM TRACK: Technical Panel: R&D In The Eagle Ford
These experts in the R&D world hone in on the latest advances in technology that are applicable to the Eagle Ford play. Which technologies show the most promise?
MIDSTREAM TRACK: Transport Panel: Multiple Options For Eagle Ford Oil, Condensate, NGL & Natural Gas
Eagle Ford producers have always enjoyed an advantage due to their proximity to the Gulf Coast. Here's a look at the rail, truck and marine options producers are using to get their products to market. And a look at a project for use of Eagle Ford gas as LNG in field operations.
